On April 1st and 2nd, Delta will sponsor the 5th edition of “Cartes Afrique” in Tunis: the card technology forum.
Delta Informatique will attend this major regional event both to showcase Delta-Bank and to underline its commitment to clients and local partners in the region.
Cartes Afrique, the leading event in the region--organised by i-conferences in partnership with the electronic banking authorities--has closely followed the major trends for the last four years.
Each year, this annual meeting has brought together over 350 representatives of banks, monetary authorities, experts and decision makers of the card industry.
Delta Informatique: Sponsor of the Africa Banking Forum
On May 20th and 21st, Delta will sponsor the 2nd edition of this major banking forum, which will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco.
This regional meeting will focus on post crisis banking dynamics. This edition will provide experts, government representatives, financial managers and key policy makers with the ideal platform to debate real financial issues through an in-depth analysis of the situation and to discuss ways to avoid such crises from happening again in the future.
The 2010 Africa Banking Forum is a two day conference hosted by a large panel of financial institution experts, consultants, capital funds managers, academics, monetary policy makers and African bank CEOs. This event will bring together more than 300 delegates representing nearly 25 countries to share their views and insights on the African banking sector.
Delta-Informatique sponsors « Desert Knights » rally team
The 4LTrophy is a competition exclusively reserved for students. Participants will be driving in the Moroccan desert. The trophy has its origins in the purest tradition of African Racing rallies and is open to Renault 4L. The teams will follow a new route marked out by the organisation, but kept confidential until D-day.
Delta is sponsoring the « Desert Knights » team. These two participants from the Sup de Co La Rochelle School are participating in the rally in partnership with the Anatole France primary school (Saint Cyr sur Loire). Follow their adventures on www.leschevaliersdudesert.fr and on www.4Ltrophy.com.
Beyond the adventure and sporting dimension, competitors also participate for social and humanitarian reasons. In order to help the local populations who host us, the 4L Trophy organisation has entered into a partnership with the organisation “Enfants du Désert”. Thanks to the 4L Trophy, the organisation has enabled the schooling of several hundred children. Each team must collect and forward 50 kg of humanitarian gifts and 25 kg per motorbike or quad bike to the children of southern Morocco.

MED IT 2009 - Casablanca, Marocco
Delta will be present at the MED IT trade exhibition the 3rd, 4th and 5th of November. This exhibition - a reference for Moroccan IT professionals - will bring together between 100 and 150 exhibitors from countries around the Mediterranean.
Banking ERP will be one of the principal themes of this year’s MED IT, which will take place at l’Office des Changes of Casablanca.
From the 15th to the 18th of October, Delta sponsored the first annual conference of the regional leader of card management, the theme of which will be “Together For A Better Africa”. Mediterranean Smart Cards Company (MSCC) supplies ATMs, bank cards, POS terminals, etc., in 65 banks in 24 African countries.
This major event has brought together more than 100 delegates from banks across Africa, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Delta has presented its product to the African market at this banking forum which included its principal competitors.
This regional meeting was focused on growth potential for retail banks as well as the contribution of information technology to the acceleration of access to financial services.
Delta, accompanied in this first edition by its partners StreamServe and IMTF, was able to identify several opportunities in the African continent.

MED IT 2009
More than 150 exhibitors participated in the 6th edition of Med-IT from the 18th to the 20th of May at the Palais de la Culture in Algiers.
This internationally renowned event concerned with information technology has taken place in Algeria since 2004 under the patronage of the Minister of the Post, Information Technologies and Communication. Over the years, Med-It has become an unmissable meeting for Algerian IT professionals.
